Moussa eyes in sina

Oyoun Moussa Oasis, which includes 12 oases, is located 35 km from the city of Suez and 60 km from the Ahmed Hamdi Tunnel connecting the Suez Governorate and the Sinai Peninsula, and it is in the middle of the cities of Suez and Ras Sidr and is located 165 km from Cairo, and it belongs administratively to the Suez Governorate .

It is one of the tourist areas of a distinctive character that tourists visit on their way to Sharm El-Sheikh, as it is characterized by the beauty of its climate and its picturesque views directly on the coast of the Gulf of Suez and includes palm trees and dense grass in addition to fresh water eyes, all of which are suitable for drinking if they are cleansed and most of its residents are from the south Sinai.
Moussa’s eyes were named after this name because the oasis from which 12 eyes were blown for drinking water, and currently only five of the twelve are left, as the rest of the eyes were buried for lack of attention and maintenance, so that led to the rest of the wells inhabited by algae and reed trees, and next to each eye there is a sign with the name of the eye And its depth, and from the names of the springs (al-Zahr well, the sea well, the western well, the well of al-Shayeb, the well of the sheikh, the well of the Saqiya and the well of al-Bagbaga). Currently, water comes out only from one eye, which is the well of Sheikh, and the average depth of the eyes is about 40 feet. The surrounding area will be transplanted, the remaining eyes will be restored, and a gallery will be built next to it containing the artifacts found in this place.
